Srinagar, June 06: A 55-year-old man and a minor girl were killed in separate accidents in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday, officials said.
They said the man was hit by an Eeco vehicle (JK09B6614) in Drugmulla, resulting in severe injuries to him. He was immediately taken to Sub District Hospital Kupwara, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The deceased has been identified as Ali Mohammad Bhat, son of Khazir Mohammad Bhat, a resident of Villgam Handwara.
In another incident, a five-year-old girl died after falling from a truck near her home in Zandgli, Kupwara.
