Srinagar, Feb 11: Stay Pattern Hospitality Services, leading hotel and travel management company has signed a five years contract with MakeMyTrip, leading travel company of India for opening its franchise outlet in Srinagar.
The outlet is expected to open by the last week of February 2023 in the heart of the city.
Faheem Qureshi, founder & director of Stay Pattern Hospitality Services said, “This expansion augments MakeMyTrip’s first retail store in Kashmir reiterating the company’s strategic focus to expand its footprint in the city.”
He further said, “Kashmir features a key source market for MakeMyTrip and caters to the growing demand from multigenerational families, millennials, couples and business travellers. MakeMyTrip will offer an array of special domestic and international holiday packages for all the customers who are ready to book and customized air-inclusive holidays.”
Faheem added that the new outlet offers end-to-end travel solutions with an array of services, including International & Domestic Holidays & ticketing, Value Added Services like Travel Insurance, Visa Services, etc.
Nurtured from the seed of a single great idea – to empower the traveller – MakeMyTrip is a pioneer in India’s online travel industry. Founded in the year 2000 by Deep Kalra, MakeMyTrip came to life to empower the Indian traveller with instant bookings and comprehensive choices. The company initiated its journey serving the US-India travel market offering a range of best-value products and services powered by technology and round-the-clock customer support.
After consolidating its position in the market as a brand recognised for its reliability and transparency, MakeMyTrip launched its India operations in 2005. With more and more Indians initiating to transact online with IRCTC and new opportunities with the advent of low cost carriers, MakeMyTrip offered travellers the convenience of booking travel online with a few clicks also by walking into franchise outlets.
