Jammu, March 10: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar on Friday emphasized the need for adherence to quality specifications and timely completion of projects. He directed the concerned departments to work in synergy and ensure regular monitoring of the work.
Holing a meeting with concerned officers to review the progress on various mega development projects being executed in the districts of Jammu division, the Div Com stressed the importance of maintaining inter-department coordination which he said is vital for expediting the pace of developmental works.
The projects under review included Power, Health and Medical Education, Higher Education, Infrastructure (Roads and Buildings), Smart City Projects, Jal Jeevan Mission, and PMGSY roads, among others. The Div Com was given a detailed progress report on all the executed projects, which revealed that work was currently in progress on all of them.
