Ladakh, Aug 06: A felicitation ceremony was organized at Hotel Zero Miles by Ladakh Taekwondo Association to felicitate various players from Ladakh who participated at Taekwondo National Championship who came with flying colours led by Coach Shabaz Ali.
On this Occasion Amir Sohail of Amir Construction Company was the Chief Guest and Chief technical Officer LTA Nissar Hussain Balkhani and President Kargil taekwondo Association Mohd Hamza were the guest of Honour.
While interacting and congratulating the players, Amir Sohail said that his company has seen the progress of the Players of Ladakh taekwondo Association and keeping in mind their achievements assured them to sponsor so that more and more talents can touch the highest mark in their career.
Amir Sohail Congratulated Ladakh Taekwondo Association for the success and further said that He has got the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful game in Kargil only and said that He will continue his support way back home in Jammu also so that players from his community will also excel.
President Ladakh Taekwondo Association Gulzar Hussain Munshi in his message said that there remains always a constraint of funds for sending the team for national and players has to bear the expenses, such sponsorship has reduced the burden on the players and helps them to motivate themselves to give their best.
Nissar Hussain Balkhani and Mohd Hamza congratulating the players said that they should more focus on practing hard so that more and more young players can inspire from them to achive a better place in Sports and opt sports as a profession.
Later while talking to Media, Anayat Ali General Secretary Ladakh Taekwondo Association said that in his 24 years of Sports Career as a Player as well as an administrator, this is for the first time that Taekwondo which has 3 State Awards for Ladakh, Dozens of International Players, and are in the process of producing more and more young talents and such ceremonies indeed are small but encourage the players very much.
He thanked British Paints, Kargil trading Corporation, Amir Sohail Construction Company of Jammu, Hotel Zero Miles and other sponsors who came forward to help the Association to achieve its dream.
Sher E Kashmir Awardee and International Player and Coach Zaheer Abass Khan anchored the whole proceedings in a smooth and beautiful manner and thanked Media Personalities of Kargil for dispersing their Programmes and Issues to the Public as well as to Administration by Covering the Event.
