Leh, July 16 : Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps, conducted a comprehensive review of the security situation along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Union Territory of Ladakh on Tuesday.
This inspection marks one of his significant engagements since assuming command of the XIV Corps on July 1.
During his visit, Lt Gen Bhalla assessed the operational readiness at the forward posts of the ‘Forever in Operations Division’. He evaluated the current security dynamics and strategic deployments aimed at maintaining the integrity of the LoC amidst challenging terrain and severe weather conditions.
Firefury Corps posted on “X” Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, SC, SM, VSM, GOC Fire and Fury Corps visited forward posts of Forever in Operations Division along the Line of Control and reviewed the security situation.
GOC complimented all ranks of #ForeverinOperationsDivision for their high standards of operational preparedness and dedication in maintaining the sanctity of the Line of Control despite the tough terrain and adverse weather conditions.
