New Delhi, Aug 27: The Jammu and Kashmir team of Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ramvilas) headed by Rafiq Malik President J&K met with the Election Committee which includes AK Bachpai National Vice President & Kumar Asim National President Minority Cell of the party in New Delhi today, emphasizing the necessity of contesting the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir under the party’s mandate.During the meeting, the Election Committee expressed its confidence in the J&K delegation, approving their request to participate in the upcoming polls. This decision marks a significant step for the party as it prepares to assert its presence in the political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.
After meeting Malik informed that Election Committee would be visiting Jammu on September 1, 2024, to officially announce the names of the candidates who will be contesting the Assembly elections to galvanize the party’s supporters and strengthen its position ahead of the elections.He said Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ramvilas) remains committed to addressing the concerns of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and ensuring that their voices are heard in the upcoming elections.
Malik however took serious cognizance of rumors making the rounds on social networking sites that LJP will not contest Assembly elections in J&K and warned those of serious action against those who circulated fake news to demoralize cadre preparing from the last four years for Assembly elections in J&K . He said that cadre has very laboriously framed units throughout J&K and several prominent persons across J&K have joined the party keeping full faith in the dynamic leadership of Chirag Paswan.
