Jammu, July 24: Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) is going to organize a mega workers’ convention in Jammu to highlight burning public issues on August 5, 2023, the party said on Monday.
In a statement, the party said national leaders including AK Bajpai National Vice President, Kunwar Asim Khan National President Minority Cell, Pranab Kumar National Youth President, Ravi Tickoo National Secretary will participate in the convention.
Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) J&K president Rafiq Malik while addressing a press conference here said, “The primary motive of the convention is to highlight issues like unemployment, price rise and the overall prosperity and security of J&K people. Their hardships are piling up as the government continues to be ignorant mode to address burning public issues.”
“It is not wrong to say that the middle class and poor are suffering immensely on all account of wrong policies of government in J&K. The condition of the youth in J&K and across India is deplorable and the government has failed to provide any sort of relief to the battered youth who continue to sit idle amidst disappearing employment opportunities,” he added.
Malik pointed out that there was “total chaos and confusion” among the people as the government has “failed” to remove peoples’ apprehensions. “On the one hand, there is complete uncertainty in J&K, while on the other hand, people are confronting with failure of the administration to solve day-to-day problems,” he said, adding that most parts of the city are facing scarcity of potable water and power scarcity.
Malik accused the BJP of betraying the people of Jammu on the issue of statehood and “misleading them on various emotive issues”.
