LJP (R) takes out candlelight march to pay tributes to Kokernag martyrs

Jammu, Sep 22: Lok Janshakti Party Ramvilas held a candlelight march in Jammu as well as in Kashmir to pay tributes to martyrs Colonel Manpreet Singh, Commanding Officer of 19 RR; Major Aashish Dhonchak; DySP Humayun Bhat, son of former DIG Kashmir Ghulam Hassan Bhat martyred in an encounter with terrorists in Kokernag.
The march was led by Rafiq Malik State President JKUT and accompanied by Mahraj Krishan Bhat State President Migrant Cell, Davinder Pal Singh State President Minority Cell, Subash Chander Sharma Jammu Province General Secretary, Satinder Singh District Rural President Jammu,Nirmal State General Secretary Mahilla Wing, Karan Singh, Manjeet Singh, Chanchal Singh, Rajinder, Harjeet, Satinder, Varinder, Parvinder, Jungbahadur Singh, Parvinder Singh Bunty, Sandeep Singh,Romi Singh,Gurdeep Singh,JB Singh,Shahsi Pal. The candle March in Kashmir led by Yasir Bhat State Vice President in Kashmir.
Rafiq Malik paying rich tributes to the fallen heroes of Police and Army who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty and attained martyrdom in the anti-terrorist operation at Gadool Kokernag area of district Anantnag, said their commitment and devotion towards professional obligations shall always be remembered.
“It was a cowardly act of terrorists which would further strengthen the determination of the security forces to defeat their designs decisively. The sacrifice of our valiant forces personnel is unforgettable and killers won’t go unpunished,” he said.
He said Pakistan is leaving no stone unturned to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir and employing its malicious tactics day in and day out to inflict wounds on the people of J&K. He condemned the killings and expressed heartfelt sympathy with the families of slain forces personnel.
“Let us always remember and honour the heroes who protect our borders and ensure our safety. Their unwavering courage and sacrifice for our nation will never be forgotten. We owe them a debt of gratitude that can never truly be repaid,” Malik said.
