Bandipora, Oct 26: Literary Forum Bandipora on Wednesday held a general council meeting to discuss the ongoing literary activities in the district.
The meeting was chaired by patron Mubashir Nazki and was conducted by General Secretary Mansoor Muntazir. Thr meeting discussed threadbare the literary activities taking place in the district.
It was given out in the meeting that the maiden poetic Compilation of poet GN Zahid has been published and shall be released on November 06.
The meeting decided that a grand function will be organised at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Bandipora to release the book that shall be attended by poets and writers from across the valley. Poet GN Zahid is the founding member of Literary Forum Bandipora who under the leadership of Later Professor Rashid Nazki laid the foundation of Literary Forum Bandipora. The function will be held in collaboration with Coffee and Kalam.
During the Book Release function, book reviews and several research papers will be presented besides holding Mehfil-e-Mushaira.
