Anantnag, May 21: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha embarked on a visit to the scenic town of Pahalgam on Sunday, engaging in a series of interactions with local residents, tourists, and traders at the bustling main market.
Adopting a proactive approach, the Lieutenant Governor personally met with individuals from various walks of life, offering them reassurance regarding the swift resolution of any genuine concerns.
LG Sinha also visited and assessed the Pahalgam-Chandanwari road project.
He was joined by senior district administration Anantnag officials.
Mir Imaad, a prominent Pahalgam-based lawyer and social activist, expressed gratitude to Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha for his important time and engagement with Pahalgam locals, visitors, and businesses.
“Thank you for addressing people’s genuine concerns and demands,” he remarked.
He stated that the LG has a wonderful vision for youth empowerment, development, and progress of district Anantnag.
In a tweet, the LG office said, “Interacted with residents, tourists and shopkeepers at the main market of Pahalgam. Glad to attend to their queries, issues and demands. Assured time bound redressal of all genuine grievances. Inspected & took stock of the Pahalgam-Chandanwari road.”
