Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday visited GMC Jammu and enquired about the health of J&K Police Personnel injured in Kathua encounter.
During his visit, LG Sinha met with the hospital authorities and medical staff to assess the condition of the injured. He directed the GMC administration to provide the best possible medical care and ensure that all necessary resources are made available for their treatment.
A total of four policemen and two recently infiltrated terrorists were killed in an encounter between security forces and Terrorists in Kathua district.
Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat late Friday evening clarified that only two terrorists and four policemen were killed in the encounter.
