LG Sinha congratulates Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Singh for winning gold medal at Asian Games

Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha on Thursday congratulated Dipika Pallikal and Harinder Pal Singh for winning the Gold Medal in Squash Mixed Doubles at the Asian Games.

In a post on X, LG Sinha wrote, "Congratulations to @DipikaPallikal and @sandhu_harinder for winning the Gold Medal in Squash Mixed Doubles at the #AsianGames2022. Their stupendous performance has made the entire nation proud."

Dipika-Harinder defeated Malaysian pair Aifa Binti Azman/Mohammad Syafiq Bin Mohd Kamal in a close encounter. They won the match in 35 minutes in straight games 11-10, 11-10.

Malaysia had the upper hand in the first game, however, India made a comeback and won by just one point 11-10.
