LG Manoj Sinha on Tuesday unveiled a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Kupwara along with Hon’ble CM of Maharashtra, Shri Eknath Shinde Ji & Maharashtra’s Cultural Affairs Minister Shri Sudhir Mungantiwar.
In a series of posts on X, LG Sinha said the great warrior and founder of Swarajya, Shivaji was also a fountainhead of high standard of morality, right conduct, and respecter for all religions and sects.
He was born leader, who scripted a new history of India through his mesmerizing victory against the enemy.
“By unleashing his military genius and moral force, Shivaji mobilized millions of Indians and achieved sovereignty for Maratha empire. His universal and eternal values continue to be relevant today and guide us on the path of social equality and peaceful co-existence,” LG Sinha said.
