Directs completion of pending works before yatra

Srinagar, May 18: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday conducted an on-site inspection and reviewed ongoing construction works and pilgrim facilities at the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) Yatri Niwas at Pantha Chowk, Srinagar. He directed officials to expedite progress and ensure completion of pending works well before the commencement of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The Lieutenant Governor also reviewed arrangements for the sound and light show dedicated to Baba Barfani.
During the inspection, LG Sinha interacted with officials and called for timely completion of all facilities to ensure a comfortable and spiritually fulfilling experience for pilgrims.
The Lieutenant Governor was accompanied by SASB CEO Dr Mandeep K. Bhandari, SASB Member Mukesh Garg, DIG CKR Rajiv Pandey, SSP Srinagar Dr G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo, and other senior officers.
