The administration of Jammu and Kashmir, under the leadership of the Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha, has extended its appreciation to the Jammu and Kashmir Police and other security forces for their commendable efforts in ensuring the seamless execution of the Prime Minister’s rally held at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar.

Throughout the day, top police officers, JK Police cops alongside personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were visibly present on the ground, diligently overseeing the security arrangements.
Their proactive stance not only bolstered the confidence of attendees but also facilitated their safe passage to the venue.

News agency KNS reported that in addition to the heightened security presence near Bakshi Stadium, multiple layers of security measures were put into effect.

Drones hovered above the venue, providing real-time surveillance, while sharpshooters remained on standby to address any potential threats.

Despite the necessary route diversions leading to the stadium, the overall flow of traffic in Srinagar city remained largely unaffected, thanks to meticulous planning and coordination by the security forces.

The people attending the rally expressed their gratitude towards the security personnel for their assistance in navigating through the security checkpoints and ensuring a hassle-free entry into the venue.
The LG personally extended his thanks to all the security officers and personnel involved in the security deployment for the PM’s rally, acknowledging their dedication and professionalism in maintaining law and order.

“The collective efforts of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with other security forces, underscored their unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens during significant public events,” the LG has said.

Meanwhile highly trained Special Protection Group (SPG) commandos were observed within Bakshi Stadium, providing close protection to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his rally.
Alongside the SPG, top-trained police officers and personnel from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were strategically positioned at the venue to enhance security measures and ensure the Prime Minister’s safety.(KNS)
