Two women and a Wildlife employee were injured after leopard Attack in Fatehpura area of Ganderbal district.

The incident unfolded on Wednesday morning, as locals were going about their daily routines.

According to eyewitnesses, the leopard launched a sudden attack, targeting two women and a wildlife officer who happened to be in the vicinity. The women sustained injuries in the attack, prompting immediate concern among the residents.

In a swift response, the incident was reported to wildlife department officials, who promptly mobilized to the scene. However, their efforts to capture the leopard proved to be perilous, as the animal fiercely resisted, causing further harm.

Shabir Ahmed, an employee of the wildlife department, was among those injured during the attempt to contain the aggressive predator.
