Ganderbal, Oct 3: A one-day practical exposure programme was organised at Police Training School (PTS) Manigam for the students of Kashmir Law College, Nowshera Srinagar, aimed at familiarising budding law professionals with various aspects of policing.
The students were given firsthand experience in police training, investigation, forensic science, ballistics, and other domains of law enforcement, particularly focusing on new developments entering the legal framework. They also visited the moot court room, CCTNS unit, smart classrooms, assault track, and lecture halls.
As part of the community engagement initiative, a special lecture was delivered by Principal PTS Manigam, Zubair Ahmad Khan (SSP), who held an interactive discourse with the students. Assistant Principal (Indoor) Farooq Ahmad Mir and Inspector Mudasir Hamid also addressed the gathering, throwing light on the recently introduced criminal laws.
Suheem Altaf, who accompanied the law students, expressed gratitude to the PTS authorities for organising the programme and providing valuable exposure to future legal professionals.
The programme was conducted by Inspector Mudasir Hamid under the overall supervision of Principal Zubair Ahmad Khan.
