Ladakh Taekwondo Association welcomes returning champions from World University Games in China

Ladakh, Aug 14: The Ladakh Taekwondo Association welcomes the international Taekwondo players Tashi Tundup and Shahnaz Parveen on their return from World University Games held at Chengdu China. 
The players were given a warm welcome at Chanigond where General Secretary Ladakh Taekwondo Association Anayat Ali along with Executive members and senior players along with family members of the players welcomed them by presenting traditional Kathaks.
After a formal Welcome at Chanigond, the players from there along with the others, were taken to TFC Kargil and where they were Welcomed by President Ladakh Taekwondo Association Gulzar Hussain Munshi along with General Secretary Kargil Olympics Association Syed Mehraj-ud-din Shah by presenting them traditional Kathaks.
On this occasion President Ladakh Taekwondo Association Gulzar Hussain Munshi congratulated the players and their parents for their achievement for representing India at World University Games known as University Olympiad.
He further said that the association will always look for a better future for their players and and his team will always strive hard to get all possible facilities for a better training to the players.
It is pertinent to mention here that Tashi Tundup and Shahnaz have shown their best during the University Olympiad and reached upto Quarter Finals which is indeed a Great Progress.
