Labour Commissioner unfurls tricolour at office

Jammu, Jan: The Labour Commissioner Office on Sunday celebrated the Republic Day with zeal and patriotic fervor at Shram Bhawan here, where Labour Commissioner, J&K Charandeep Singh unfurled the national flag and took a salute.
Addressing the gathering, the Labour Commissioner emphasised the importance of workers in nation-building and reaffirmed the department’s commitment towards safeguarding workers’ rights and fostering healthy employer-employee relationships across the UT.
The event also marked the launch of the inaugural edition of the ‘Shram Patrika’ Newsletter and Labour Department Calendar-2025 by the Labour Commissioner. Moreover, in recognition of their outstanding performance, certificates of appreciation were also awarded to six Labour Department officials.
