KVK Budgam hosts program on Bio-inputs for Sustainable Organic Vegetable Production

Srinagar, Jan 12: Krishi Vigyan Kendra Budgam SKUAST-K on Monday concluded one-week Existing Management Development Programme (E-MDP) on “Trichoderma a Biofertilizer and Biofungicide for Sustainable Organic Vegetable Production” for Rural Youth of Hakermullah Budgam.
The programme is sponsored by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME), GoI. aimed to sensitize and build entrepreneurial mindset among the rural youth and develop their skills in use of Trichoderma as biofertilizer and bioagent for sustainable organic vegetable production.
A total of 25 trainees attended the training programme that included both theory and practical demonstrations. Exposure Visit of trainees to Biocontrol Lab Division of Plant Pathology was also arranged as part of the programme.
