Kuljeet Singh, an Assistant Professor at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi-NCR, has been selected to compete in the Athens of the East 4th International Open FIDE Rated Chess Tournament-2024 (Category-C, Below 1800).

The tournament, recognized as one of the prominent international events for chess players, will feature participants from across the globe competing to achieve FIDE ratings and improve their standings.

Hailing from Village Shanna Thakrie, District Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir, Kuljeet Singh’s selection marks a significant achievement, reflecting his dedication to the sport alongside his professional commitments.

The Athens of the East tournament provides a competitive platform for emerging and aspiring chess players to test their skills, strategies, and mental resilience in an international setting.
