The Kulgam police Thursday organized a gathering of retired police officers in the district police lines here in Kulgam in order to redress their grievances on an immediate basis.
The meeting was moderated by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Kulgam, Dr G V Sundeep Chakravarthy. He heard the grievances of the retired police officer and assured them of their redress.
“The best thing we can do is reach out to our retired colleagues who have served the Department; their well-being should continue to be our priority,” said SSP Kulgam.
SSP Chakravarthy welcomed retirees to DPL Kulgam and had a long discussion with them. He also praised their service to the department during their term.
In addition, the officer said, we will meet with pensioners in the future from time to time for interactions, suggestions and hearing them for any genuine grievances.
“The purpose of the meeting was to hear the grievances of retired police officers and try to find the best way to correct them and take them to the relevant quarters,” he said.
SSP gave prominence to the fact that they consider the police department as a family and share their problems with us at any time.
