Kulgam, Burammulla qualifies for final-UT level U/17 Boys Cricket Tournament

Anantnag, Sep 28: The Department of Youth Services & Sports is currently organizing different Zonal, District and provincial-level tournaments and District Anantnag is hosting the UT-Level Cricket Tournament organized by Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Kashmir. In today’s proceedings of Matches, Pulwama & Bandipora locked horns for Final League match of the tournament in which Pulwama Scored 115 runs in allotted over’s after winning the toss.
In this innings Aasif Ali scored 40 of 30 balls and Junaid Ahmad from Bandipora clinched 04 wickets in his 03 over’s spell, chasing this target Bandipora make it through by 03 wickets, in which Faizan Bashir was top scorer of 29 runs in just 15 deliveries, however Aasif Ali claimed 03 wickets in 03 overs and was declared as Man of the Match for his All Round performance.
In Semifinal Match between host District Anantnag & neighboring District Kulgam, after winning the toss Anantnag decided to Field first and were able to restrict visiting team at a score of 103 runs by a superb bowling spell of Solib with 04 wickets in 04 over’s by conceding 13 runs only while as Wasif Reyaz scored 44 runs in 28 deliveries, chasing this target Anantnag were 15 runs behind the target with brilliant spell of Basit of 04 over’s and 03 wickets and he was also declared as Man of The Match for All Round performance including 11 runs and 03 wickets.
Another semi-final also gets concluded, Baramullah vs. Budgam, Baramullah set a target of 127 runs with Brilliant knock of 48 runs from willow of Ayan Tariq and quick fire of 25 runs from Samit Bashir, chasing this target Budgam were restricted 24 runs before reaching the target and with this Baramullah also qualified for Final stage. Umer Ashraf from Baramullah was declared as Man of The Match for his magical spell of 03 over’s and 03 wickets.
It is pertinent to mention that both semi-finals were also played on Turf Wickets and players experienced this great mega event, and now Baramullah will face Kulgam in electrifying final on same ground.
