KU announces winter vacations for teaching depts.

Srinagar, Dec 18: The University of Kashmir has announced winter vacations for its teaching departments and satellite campuses, effective from January 1, 2025, to February 23, 2025.
In an official notice issued on Wednesday, the Joint Registrar of the university stated that all teaching departments and satellite campuses will observe winter vacations during the specified period. However, the notice clarified that departmental offices will continue to function as usual. Heads, directors, and coordinators of departments and satellite campuses have been instructed to ensure that examinations, if scheduled, and other activities proceed as planned. Additionally, the notice stated that remedial classes—either offline or online—will be conducted by the departments during the winter break to complete any remaining syllabus.
