KU announces winter vacation from Jan 10

The University of Kashmir has announced winter vacations for teaching departments of its main and off-site campuses from January 10 to February 22, 2026. According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, the winter break will be observed by all teaching departments during the said period. However, the notice clarifies that Heads, Directors and Coordinators of departments, off-site campuses and centres shall ensure that their offices function as per routine. It further states that examinations, if any, and other academic or administrative activities will be conducted as per the already notified schedule.
