KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir parts

  Srinagar, Sep 25: Kashmir Power Development Corporation (KPDCL) Thursday announced power shutdown in various parts of Kashmir for September 30. A statement issued here said that according to the Chief Engineer, distribution, KPDCL, in order to facilitate cutting down of some poplar trees at village Harnag, shutdown of 33KV Wanpoh Sarnal line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Harnag, Nai Basti, Sarnal, Anchidora, Akhura shall remain off while power supply to Dak Bungalow, Harnag, Khanabal, Sarnal, Anchidora, Nai Basti and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm on September 30. Similarly, for Incorporating the Loop In Loop Out (LILO) arrangement of 33/11 KV, 2x6.3 MVA R/stn Hiller Bahi, shutdown of 33KV Lisser Hiller line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Aarkhoshipora, Hiller Bahi and Shankerpora shall remain off while power supply to Hiller, Shankerpora, Sagam, Aarkhoshipora and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 am to 03:00 pm on October 7. Likewise, to facilitate Branch cutting and preventive maintenance, shutdown of 33KV Pampore-Lethpora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Konibal, Lethpora, LIS Lethpora, Khyber Milk and Stone Crusher BPCL Bottling Plant shall remain off while power supply to Samboora, Lethpora, Patalbagh, Chandhara, Konibal, Dusoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 02:00 PM on October 4. Also in this connection, shutdown of 33KV Pampore-Khrew line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Khrew-I, Khrew-II, Shar Shali, Auxiliary TLMD IV shall remain off while power supply to Khrew, Bathan, PHE/ Hospital, Shar-A, Shar-B, Wahab Sahab and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm on October 1. For stabilisation by way of replacement of rotten wooden poles by new 11 mtr ST Poles at Andergam Palhalan, shutdown of 33KV Pattan-Amargarh line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Palahalan, Hamray shall remain off while power supply to Palhalan,Tantray pora, MES, Hyderbeigh, Hamray, Wanigam, Lolipora, Tapper, Railway, Hamray, Cold Store, Bulgam, Arco Mill and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on  September 29.
