KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir parts

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, in order to carry out Stabilization/ Branch Cutting/ necessary maintenance works, the shutdown of below mentioned 33KV lines shall be observed which will subsequently affect electricity to given areas.

The shutdown of 33 KV Nowbugh Charisharief line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Charisharief 1, Charisharief 2, Nagam and Hafroo shall remain off while the power supply to the Charisharief, Kanidajan, Darwan, Nagam, Badipora, Hafroo, Loolipora and Buzgoo Nilnag areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 26th of October, 2024.

The shutdown of 33 KV Nowbugh Chadoora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Chadoora, Panzan and Rangar shall remain off while the power supply to the Chadoora, Wathoora, Bugam, Doniwari, Daulatpora, Hasipora, Sogam, Yarikalan, Panzan, Lalgam, Gudsuthroo, Gopalsaif, Rangar and Kuthair areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 29th of October, 2024.

The shutdown of 33 KV Hafroo Tap line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Station at Hafroo shall remain off while the power supply to the Hafroo, Loolipora, Buzgoo and Nilnag areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 29th of October, 2024.

The shutdown of 33 KV Pampore BK Pora line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at BK Pora, Khanda and Summerbugh shall remain off while the power supply to the Summerbugh, BK Pora, Aribagh, Kenihama, Chattergam, Waripora, Wagoora and Khanda areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 28th of October, 2024.

The shutdown of 33 KV Budgam SIDCO line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Budgam and SIDCO shall remain off while the power supply to the Budgam, Sebdan, Mirgund, JNV, DC Office, Ompora and Housing Colony areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 27th of October, 2024.

The shutdown of 33 KV Ahmadpora Beerwah line shall be observed due to which 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Khag, Beerwah and Arizal shall remain off while the power supply to the Khag, Beerwah, Arizal, Gundipora, Ratsun, Sitaharan, Najan and Charangam areas will be affected from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 26, 29 & 31 of October, 2024.

Similarly the shutdown of 220 KV Wagoora- Zainakote Circuit I shall be observed from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 28 October, 2024.

Also, the shutdown of 220 KV Wagoora- Zainakote Circuit II shall be observed from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on 29 October, 2024.
