Authorities on Monday sealed Godwon as well shop of the arrested person after a person was seen in a video kneading flour dough with his feet in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A Police spokesman said, “Taking strong note of an earlier video that went viral on social media showing kneading flour dough with his feet etc for which case FIR number 334/2022under relevant sections of law was registered and one person namely Imran Hussain Halwayi S/o Mehboob Hussain Halwayi was arrested.
“Today officers of Food Safety Department and officials of enforcement committee Budgam sealed the shop and godown of the arrested vendor,” he said.
Earlier on Saturday Budgam police arrested a lotus stem fritters/tea stall vendor at Ompora Budgam after a video went viral showing him making unhealthy food items (Nadur Munji) by kneading the flour dough with feet.
Budgam Police swung into action and the unit was sealed soon after the video surfaced on social media.
