Khalil Choudhary stresses upholding ideals of justice, equality, fraternity

Budgam, Aug 15: In a resplendent display of patriotism and unity, the 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervor at the District Court Complex in Budgam. The event was marked by the hoisting of the national flag by the Principal District & Sessions Judge, and Chairman, DLSA, Budgam, Khalil Choudhary, who also took the salute of the guards.
The 77th Independence Day celebration at the District Court Complex, Budgam, was a beautiful embodiment of our shared commitment to justice, freedom, and unity. As the national flag soared high, it symbolized the aspirations and dreams of this great nation.
The celebration was graced by the distinguished presence of Additional District & Sessions Judge, Budgam, Mr Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Budgam, Mr Noor Mohammad Mir, Special Mobile Magistrate, Budgam, Mr Sheikh Gowher, Civil Judge Jr Division, Ms Farrah Bashir, officers from the Prosecution Department, members of the legal fraternity, including lawyers from the Bar, officers and ministerial court staff, and officers, staff members of the DLSA, Budgam and para-legal volunteers (PLVs).
Khalil Choudhary in his special address said, “As we hoist our tricolor high, let us remember the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the resilience of every Indian who has contributed to shaping our great nation. Today, we stand as one, irrespective of our differences, upholding the ideals of justice, equality, and fraternity, envisioned by Ambedkar.”
The heartwarming gesture of gratitude at the event was the distribution of sweets among the guards, acknowledging their dedication to safeguarding our nation’s values and freedoms by Principal District & Sessions Judge, Budgam, Khalil Choudhary.
