Mumbai, July 03: Kavinder Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, visited the revered Siddhi Vinayak Temple and Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple in Mumbai on Wednesday to offer prayers for the peace and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Kavinder performed special Pujas at both temples, seeking blessings for the progress and well-being of his home state. The Siddhi Vinayak Temple, dedicated to Lord Ganesha, and the Shri Laxmi Narayan Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi, are among the most prominent and sacred temples in India, attracting devotees from across the country and beyond,” a statement issued here said.
During his visit, Kavinder Gupta expressed his heartfelt wishes for Jammu and Kashmir, saying, “I have prayed to Lord Ganesha and Lord Vishnu along with Goddess Laxmi for the peace, prosperity, and happiness of all the people in Jammu and Kashmir. May the divine blessings of Siddhi Vinayak and Shri Laxmi Narayan bring harmony and progress to our state.”
The visit was marked by a traditional welcome from the temple priests and a ceremonial offering of flowers and sweets. Kavinder participated in the rituals with utmost devotion, emphasizing the importance of spiritual and cultural values in fostering unity and development. (KNS)
