Ganderbal, Dec 13: In a showcase of agricultural innovation at the Shere-E-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K), Kashvet Innovation Pvt Ltd (KIPL) stole the spotlight with its array of Livestock Feed and Feed Supplements. The startup, mentored by Prof. A. M. Ganai, presented a diverse lineup, including Kashvet sheep feed, Kashmim-S, Kashmin-Plus, Dairyboost, and Sheepboost.
During the event, Prof. A. M. Ganai, along with Dr Parvaiz Reshi, Dr Gowher Gull, and Dr Naveed Hamid, presented a cheque of Rs. 30,000 to the Vice-Chancellor of SKUAST-Kashmir in support of SKIIE center, showcasing commitment to nurturing innovation among the university’s faculty and student innovators.
Soroubh Bagath, Director of JK Department of Science and Technology, Prof. Haroon NaiK, Director Research & Director SKIIE, Director Education Prof. M. A. A. Siddiqui, Prof. D. M. Makhdoomi, Director Extension, and Prof. R. A. Shahardar were also present, commending Kashvet Innovations Pvt Ltd for its significant contribution to the farming community and steadfast support for the university’s budding innovators.
Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Reshi, Founder of Kashvet Innovations Pvt Limited, SKUAST-K, shared insights on the sidelines, emphasizing that Kashvet feeds has become the preferred and most popular brand of feed and feed supplements among farmers. He highlighted a staggering tenfold demand exceeding current production levels. Dr. Reshi expressed gratitude for the support from SKUAST-K authorities and pledged KIPL’s commitment to tripling production to meet the surging demands of the farming community.
