Kashmir’s first Vistadome coach will be inaugurated soon and it will chug between Srinagar to Banihal stations. All arrangements in this regard have been finalized, officials on Tuesday said.
The Vistadome coach is a state-of-the-art coach made by Indian Railways, designed to provide passengers with travel comfort as well as an enhanced viewing experience of their surroundings.
Chief Area Manager (CAM) Kashmir, Saqib Yousuf Yatoo (IRTS),
told Rising Kashmir that the Vistadome coach will be inaugurated likely on October 19 and all arrangements have been finalized in this regard.
“Northern Railways has conducted a successful trail run from Budgam to Baramulla and it was supervised by the higher officials of railways,” he said.
Saqib said the inaugural ceremony will be attended by JK administration and higher officials from Northern Railways
