Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Monday announced that residents of the Kashmir Valley will face heightened power curtailment due to limited power availability.

According to KPDCL, the increased curtailment measures are unavoidable until power availability improves in the region. Residents are urged to bear with the situation and exercise judicious use of electricity, particularly during peak hours.

Authorities have emphasized the importance of adhering to sanctioned load limits and avoiding illegal connections, commonly known as hooking.
