Srinagar, Dec 24 : Kashmir is experiencing extremely cold weather, gripped by the intense Chillai Kalan, the hardest 40 day period of winter.
As per the Kashmir weather forecast, Srinagar recorded a temperature of -6.6 degrees Celsius.
Tourist destination places Like pahalgam and Gulmarg recorded a temperature of -7.8 ⁰C and -1.9 ⁰ C.
Shopian Records Valley’s Lowest Temperature at -8.8°C, Anantnag and Pulwama Follow at -8.3°C. while Kulgam reported -6.7°C.
Budgam and Ganderanbal recorded temperatures of -7.0°C and -6.5°C, respectively. Meanwhile, Bandipora and Baramulla recorded temperatures of -6.4°C and -6.0°C, while Khudwani recorded -7.1°C.
