Kargil, Feb 25: The administration in Kargil district of union territory of Ladakh has extended winter vacations in all educational institutions till March 12.
In view of the cold wave conditions, and threats of avalanches, winter vacation in government and private schools in the districts have been extended by two more days till March 12 but the employees have been asked to report on March 10 to make necessary arrangements in schools.
An official told Rising Kashmir that the administration has taken this decision on the request of parents and elected representatives.
