Justice Rabstan listens to issues of inmates at sub-jail Reasi

Reasi, May 17: Justice Tashi Rabstan, Judge High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Executive Chairman, J&K Legal Services Authority on Wednesday visited District Court Complex, Reasi and inaugurated the Office of the Legal Aid Defence Counsel (LADC).
Justice Tashi Rabstan was accompanied by Amit Kumar Gupta, Member Secretary, J&K Legal Services Authority; Sonia Gupta, Pr. District and Sessions Judge, Reasi/Chairman DLSA Reasi. They also visited the Sub Jail, Reasi and listened to the grievances of the jail inmates and assured time-bound redressal.
Chief Prosecutor Officer, Ranjiv Kumar and Senior Prosecuting Officer, Ashwani Kumar also accompanied his Lordship to Sub Jail, Reasi. During the inauguration of the LADC Office, Justice Tashi Rabstan handed over the appointment letters to Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel Rashi Baru and Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel Supriya.
A legal awareness camp on Defense Legal Aid Counsel System was also organized under the guidance and supervision of Justice Tashi Rabstan at Bakkal, Reasi. Member Secretary SLSA, Amit Gupta, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Reasi Sonia Gupta, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Reasi Archana Charak, and Sunil Kumar, Secretary/Sub-Judge DLSA Reasi and other Judicial Officers were present on the occasion.
The officers of district administration and police were also present on the occasion. Later, Justice Tashi Rabstan also interacted with the members of the Bar Association, Reasi.
