Jammu, March4: Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) on Saturday expressed strong displeasure over the selection of APTECH company for conducting JKSSB exams by the authorities.
The party Chief Spokesperson Salman Nizami said that it seems the Jammu Kashmir administration has floated all the rules and regulations and selected APTECH for the services since the company is blacklisted in so many states and has also been fined by the supreme court.
“What more can be a moment of displeasure for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir. Their future is handed over to a company which has a dubious and poor track record across the country,” said Salman Nizami.
He said the company has failed in the past to ensure transparency and accountability in holding such exercise due to which UP, Rajasthan, Haryana and other states have banned it. “And our UT administration is hiring it to put the future of thousands of our youth at stake,” he added.
He said the government has already scrapped many recruitment processes on the grounds of doubts and allegations. Now if the APTECH is holding the exams for JKSSB, there is yet again a chance that it might get scrapped since it has a poor transparency record. So, before anything wrong happens, the government must reconsider its decision and choose some better option.
Nizami said that given the alarming rise in unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir, the government must show sincerity in its efforts towards the youth.
