Srinagar, May 29: The aspirants of J&K UT, under the banner of JKSSB Aspirants Delegates, on Monday met the chairman and other officials of the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board at the Jammu and Srinagar offices.
In an inviting atmosphere, all the issues and grievances were discussed, with both sides giving their input on the pertaining issues affecting the youth of UT, the aspirants’ body said in a statement.
“Among the biggest issues, JKSSB assured that the exam calendar, syllabus of notified vacancies, and declaration of results are their top priorities. They maintained that they are working in their capacity to sort these out at the earliest. This is also evident in the fact of the recent release of answer keys and declaration of results. It was also communicated by the board that in the upcoming weeks, most of the withheld results will be declared,” they said.
In reply to the query that some exams were not given any space in the previous calendar, the board stated that these exams, along with others, would be conducted in due time, the aspirants said.
“Another matter of age that can further lead to eligibility issues was discussed with the board. They informed the delegation that they are aware of this issue. To counter this apprehension, they will be notifying the remaining vacancies that are forwarded to JKSSB in a considerate manner,” the statement said.
