Srinagar, July 11: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested another key accused in the 2022 JKSSB Sub-inspector recruitment exam paper leak case. This arrest comes nearly three weeks after the ED arrested the alleged mastermind of the scandal.
Anil Kumar, 31, from Lahroda in Mahendragarh district, Haryana, was taken into custody by the ED-Jammu on Wednesday under the criminal provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). On Thursday morning, he was presented in the special court for anti-corruption (CBI cases) in Jammu, where the ED secured his five-day custody.
This arrest follows the earlier capture of 43-year-old YatinYadav, also from Haryana, who is believed to be the kingpin behind the paper leak. Yadav was arrested on June 24, marking a significant breakthrough in the investigation. The crackdown on the 2022 JKSSB Sub-inspector recruitment exam paper leak has highlighted serious concerns about the integrity of the recruitment process.
