Srinagar, Feb 10: The Jammu and Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training (JKSCERT) is likely to introduce teaching of Hindi language upto class 10th in all the schools across Jammu and Kashmir.
In this connection, the Director JKSCERT has set up a eight member committee to give recommendations for a mechanism for ‘Teaching and Learning of Hindi Language’ in the schools of the UT.
According to an order issued by JKSCERT, the committee shall be serviced by Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).
The committee will be headed by chairman of JKBOSE and other seven members including Director School Education Jammu, Director School Education Kashmir, Project Director Samagra Shiksha JK, Director Academics of JKBOSE, Joint Director SCERT Divisional Office Jammu, Joint Director SCERT Divisional Office Kashmir and Joint Director SCERT Central JK.
The recommendations have to be submitted by the committee by February 20, reads the order.
