Srinagar, Oct 23: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Wednesday held a Disciplinary Committee meeting at the party headquarters in Jammu, which was chaired by Mula Ram.
The committee addressed issues related to indiscipline within the party, recent electoral outcomes and other matters impacting the party’s performance.
Members examined the factors contributing to indiscipline among party members and called for a unified approach to uphold party values and cohesion. The recent election results were a key focus, with the committee analysing the outcomes and identifying areas needing attention to enhance the party’s effectiveness in future elections.
This meeting marks the first in a series of discussions aimed at developing recommendations to tackle the identified challenges. A follow-up meeting is scheduled for tomorrow for further deliberations. Following these discussions, the committee will compile a report to be submitted to the party president.
The meeting was attended by all members, including Tirlok Singh Bajwa, Th Balbir Singh, Surinder Singh Channi, Shahnawaz Choudhary, Fayaz Ahmed Mir and Dr Audil Farooq Mir (Lasjan).
