Jammu, Jan 23: Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu, is organizing its 14th International Exhibition of Art (Online) on January 29. The exhibition would be inaugurated online by the chief guest Saleem Beg, former Chairman of National Monuments Authority, J&K and Director General Tourism.
Pt. Kewal K Sharma, President Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts will be the guest of honour whereas Romesh Bhosle, eminent artist (Pune) & Advisor JKCCA will be the special guest on this occasion, the JKCCA said in a statement.
The artwork of select 80 veterans and well-known as well young artists of India and abroad would be displayed in the exhibition, Director JKCCA OP Sharma said, adding that the show would showcase the different trends & styles, techniques and mediums being put into practice by the artists at the global level.
“JKCCA is perhaps the only NGO in the state of J&K that integrates itself with the functions of visual arts, literature and performing arts and has been active since 1999. It has organized a large number of state, national and international level art camps, and art exhibitions at Jammu, Rajouri, Sunderbani, Amritsar, New Delhi, Jaipur, Dehradun, Aru, Pahalgam, Lucknow, Goa, etc. providing a platform to the artists,” Sharma added.
