JKCA women’s skill specific camp concludes; matches to begin from Monday

Jammu, July 23: The week-long Skill Specific Camp for Women U-19, U-23 and Senior of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) concluded at JKCA Hostel ground here on Sunday.
Now, the participating players have been divided into four teams namely A, B, C and D for the T20 matches to commence at the same venue from tomorrow, which will conclude on July 30, 2023.
Ace cricketers Sarla Devi, Sandhya Sayal, Rubia Sayed and Shivanti Gupta have been named the captains of these teams.
“JKCA will ensure that its players remain physically fit and match ready with the introduction of fitness camps including yoga, skill specific camps, pre-season camps and preparatory camps. 12 such camps have been completed, one is in progress and 17 more will be held,” said Brig Anil Gupta.
Head Coach of these camps, Chetan Dhingra and other officials lavished praise on JKCA Administrators for providing them all kinds of facilities to hold these camps in a most befitting manner.
Mr Chetan said that such camps are going to go a long way to help players hone their cricketing skill and improve their fitness level.
Camp Incharge and Trainer, Satika Sharma and Physiotherapists Lovely Bansal and Sakshee Raina threw light on the fitness and health of the players.
They were all praise for the facilities they get from Sub-committee JKCA.
The captains also spoke on the beauty of the system presently prevailing in JKCA.
