Jammu, May 18: Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education organised a one-day Consultative Meet at Conference Hall, JKBOSE, Rehari Colony, Jammu to deliberate and discuss the draft of J&K State Curriculum Framework-Foundation Stage (JKSCF-FS) in which administrators and teachers from various wings of School Education Department participated.
JKSCF -FS is an adaptation of National Curriculum Framework-FS 2022 which focuses on the education of five-year foundation stage that starts from Pre-school-I upto class II.
The meet was chaired by Prof. (Dr) Parikshat Singh Manhas Chairman JKBOSE who in his inaugural address laid stress on thorough deliberations on JKSCF-FS draft by various stakeholders so that this document serves as a benchmark and guideline to frame all future education policies for ECCE.
“JKBOSE has worked on the local contextualization of the NCF-FS to suit the specific needs of the students of the UT of J&K which carries a unique status because of its diversity and topography.
