Srinagar, Dec 28: Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian has expressed gratitude to former Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta for taking up the issue of internship of students who had completed their MBBS in Iran.
In a statement issued here, Aga Muntazir said he had taken up the issue with the former CS who had promised to look into the matter and address the issue in the best interest of students.
“Today, the J&K Medical Council has issued a circular where the internship period has been reduced by one year,” Aga said while thanking Dr Mehta.
