Jammu, Feb: The Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL), in collaboration with Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, Friday organised ‘Sahitya Manch’ at K L Saigal Hall, Jammu, celebrating Dogri poetry and its cultural richness.
Eminent Dogri poets, including Dr Om Goswami, Om Vidyaarthi, Mangal Das Dogra, and T R Magotra, captivated the audience with their thought-provoking verses on culture, tradition, and contemporary life. Padma Shri awardee Mohan Singh, Convener, Dogri, Sahitya Akademi, presided over the event, emphasising the need to preserve and promote regional languages. Harvinder Kour, JKAS, Secretary JKAACL, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, commending the efforts to foster Dogri literature. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Reeta Khadyal, Editor Dogri, who appreciated the poets, audience, and organisers for their contributions.
