Srinagar, Sep 19: The three days long J&K UT Powerlifting and Deadlift championship, 2022 for men, women, sub-junior, junior, senior, master equipped and unequipped held at Indoor stadium Bagwati Nagar Jammu concluded on Monday with Kashmir bagging a total of 28 medals including 16 gold, six silver and six bronze medals in the overall championship.
Riyaz Ahmad Bhat President Kashmir powerlifting Association who accompanied team Kashmir told Rising Kashmir the event was organised by All J&K UT Power Lifting Associations.
Around 400 men and 80 women from 14 districts of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the championship.
