J&K Tourism mulling to launch Grand F4 Car shows along Boulevard Road

Srinagar, Mar 03: Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department is mulling to hold Grand F4 Car shows in association with private players along the Boulevard Road of Dal Lake in Srinagar City, official Sources said.
Sources told Rising Kashmir that the department also intends to create a brand ad film and song of its own featuring the stunning beauty of J&K as a premier tourist destination in India.
The department will also rope in a brand ambassador of high repute to promote the brand J&K all over the world, they added.
They said that the Grand F4 Car shows will be held along Boulevard Road to showcase the thrilling and adventurous side of the union territory. The shows will also highlight the scenic and diverse landscapes of J&K, such as snow-capped mountains, lush valleys, serene lakes, and historic monuments.
The sources also said that it will produce a brand ad film and song of its own, featuring the cultural and natural richness of J&K. The film and song will showcase the various attractions, activities, cuisines, and festivals of J&K, as well as the hospitality and warmth of the people.
The film and song will likely be aired on the official website and social media handles of the department.
The sources also revealed that it will appoint a brand ambassador of high repute to endorse and promote the brand J&K all over the world.
The sources said that the brand ambassador will be someone who has a strong connection and affinity with J&K, and who can appeal to a wide and diverse audience.
These initiatives are part of its efforts to revive and boost the tourism sector in J&K, they said adding that it hopes to attract more domestic and foreign tourists to J&K, and to showcase the union territory as a safe, secure, and splendid destination.
Sources also said that the J&K Tourism Department is also planning to come up with Adventure Tourism policy in 2024, with a focus on the adventure standards and safety measures.
The policy will also facilitate the development of infrastructure, training, and certification for adventure tourism as well as create awareness and interest among the tourists and locals.
The policy will also generate economic activity and rural employment in addition to making Jammu and Kashmir a world-class adventure tourism destination, they added.
