To commemorate the Article 370 Abrogation Day, BJP will organise a massive public rally in Bana Singh Stadium in R.S.Pura on August 5, next month, informed Jammu and Kashmir BJP State General Secretary and rally incharge, Adv. Vibodh Gupta, during his visit to the rally venue.

He was along with Former Minister and UT Vice President Sham Choudhary, Chairperson DDC Sh. Keshav Kumar, District President Jammu Border Sh. Sunil Dutt, UT Secretary Sh. Arvind Gupta, Former MLC Sh. Vikram Randhawa, Former MLA Sh. Ashwani Sharma, Sh. Sanjay Baru, DDC Prof Garu Ram, Prabhari Jammu Border Sh. Rajinder Singh Chib, General Secretary RS Pura, Sh. Akash Chib, Prabhari Akhnoor Sh. Brijeshwar Singh Rana, Sh. Inderjeet ,Pandit Ashok Khajuria ,H.S.Pummy , BDC Sh. Vidhya Motton, DDC Sh.nDarvinder Kumar, Sh. Sat Pal Former President MC RS Pura, Sh. Dev Raj Sharma, Sh. Jai sharma, Sh. Naresh Singh, Sh. Jagdish Bhagat, Sh. Ajay Vaid among other prominent leaders.

Adv. Vibodh Gupta, on this occasion, said that the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A gave dignified lives to the refugees from West Pakistan, daughters of the soil, Valmiki Samaj, PoJK displaced people among others.

“After a long struggle of decades, West Pakistan refugees got citizenship rights from the Modi government, which brought smiles on their faces and today after five years of the abrogation of the controversial Article, there has been vast changes in their lives. Similarly, it was 35A which had barred the females of Jammu and Kashmir from basic rights on marrying outside Jammu and Kashmir. Rights, which were snatched from them, were restored by the Modi government”, Adv. Vibodh Gupta added.

Adv. Vibodh Gupta strongly asserted that the Jammu and Kashmir is touching new heights of peace and progress under Sh. Narendra Modi government post abrogation of Article 370 and 35A. The OBCs, Paharis, SCs, Valmiki Samaj, all have been benefitted by the decisions of charismatic Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi all these years after the abrogation of 370.

Terming the recent decision of the LG administration to grant land ownership rights to the Displaced Persons from West Pakistan as one more gift to the neglected and discriminated people of the UT, Adv. Vibodh Gupta said that the Congress, NC and other parties only played lip service and did nothing to mitigate the problems of the people.

He said that the BJP has always been in forefront to raise the issues of all the sections while it was in opposition and on coming to power at the centre, its government took one decision after the other, to deliver justice and provide respectable living.

Making a fervent appeal to the people from all walks of life to attend the August 5 rally, Adv. Vibodh Gupta said that it will send a clear message to the PM Sh. Narendra Modi that everyone appreciates his pro-people, pro-poor, pro-refugee programmes and policies and that they would support and strengthen BJP.
