Srinagar, March 8: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has predicted a spell of rain and snow in Jammu and Kashmir from March 10 to 16.
According to the forecast, the weather will remain generally dry till March 9. However, from March 10-11, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain/snow in higher reaches at many places.
Intermittent spells of light to moderate rain/snow are expected from March 12-14, while intermittent light rain/snow is predicted for March 15-16.
In view of the weather forecast, the authorities have issued advisories for travelers, tourists, transporters, and farmers.
Travelers, tourists, and transporters are advised to follow administrative and traffic advisories.
Farmers are advised to suspend farm operations from March 10 to 16.
People are also advised to avoid sloppy and avalanche-prone areas.
